We all have the right to be happy, let’s smile a little first: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCsO56kWwTc

We don’t make mistakes, we just make happy little accidents.

In Presentation Techniques 2: Contrast and Hierarchy, we emphasized the importance of contrast and hierarchy. Now we will focus on the technical side of the business a little more. We will see how we do not compromise on originality while being right in choosing colors.

While deciding on colors and creating contrast in our presentations, we will use a “palette” as you can see on the right.

First, we have to find the color that will represent the presentation correctly, and we must choose colors that will suit the color we have chosen little by little on the palette.

We will not do this with a brush, don’t be afraid 😄

Here is a site like Kadıköy Güven Sanat: https://colorhunt.co/

From here, we will find a palette suitable for the character of the presentation without painting our hands.

To apply;

  • Download a color palette you like from the web page. (It will download as a photo.)
  • Add this palette to the first page of the presentation, position it somewhere below, then attach CTRL+C, CTRL+V to the corner of each page.
  • Color text, themes, shapes just like Bob Ross by selecting colors from the palette with the “Color Dropper” tool.

You will find the harmony you are looking for:

Of course, it would not be right to condition it on a single site because there are dozens of sites that provide the same function. If you are looking for something more professional you can use https://color.adobe.com/.

You can learn the color codes from such sites and get the color you are looking for with the direct code.

When you search for these codes on Google or type “color picker”, a picker appears where we can see the definitions of the color in various formats.

Quality work has never happened by accident. Of course, this series of articles cannot end here in order to leave nothing to chance and to take control.

After adjusting the contrast and color suitable for the theme, the most important issue to be discussed is “Font Selection”.
